Befriend the gods with Mythic Ocean on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

You may have seen a demo, or you may have stumbled upon it on Nintendo Switch, but all you need to know is that Mythic Ocean is now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, giving a whole new range of players the chance to befriend the gods and make choices that shape the cosmos.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, following on from a recent Nintendo Switch and Steam drop, Mythic Ocean from the Texas-based Paralune has been delivered to Xbox via the Nakana team – they who were previously behind the likes of Cosmic Top Secret and Journey of the Broken Circle

It’s priced at £12.49 and promises to provide gamers with a proper old narrative to follow, all as they explore the world around them, taking in conversations with the gods and attempting to shape the world as they see fit.

With no form of death, nor combat, nor any failure to worry about, Mythic Ocean should well appeal to many, with both the old and young alike discovering a playthrough that will get them thinking and provide enough food for some decent thought. There’s some reply value included here too, and whilst our full review of Mythic Ocean on Xbox Series X|S talks of how it’s a struggle to get back into the swing of things after the couple of hours of initial gameplay, Nakana are promising that for those looking for it, some form of replayability is present.

It’s the environments and beautiful yet calming playspace that provide the real positives of this underwater adventure though, and it’s very much worth a playthrough for those elements alone.

Should you wish to give it a shot you’ll find Mythic Ocean present and correct, awaiting full download from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
