Godfall might be coming to PlayStation 4, according to a PEGI rating. The game was originally released on PC and PlayStation 5, and was one of the PS5’s launch titles. Caught by Twisted Voxel, Godfall’s PEGI rating lists a PS4 version alongside its PC and PS5 releases.
Godfall’s launch trailer revealed that it would be exclusive to PS5 and Epic Games Store on PC for six months from release. The exclusivity period ends on May 12, and the PEGI rating indicates that this is likely when we’ll see Godfall being released on to the PS4, and potentially even Steam.
Console-maker Sony, developer Counterplay, and publisher Gearbox have not yet made any official announcement about Godfall coming to the older console, and there is still no word on whether it will get a release on Xbox consoles at all.
Back in March, a potential release window for Godfall on Xbox Series X|S was leaked, setting the release to sit between May and June. Other aspects of the leak also included a possible release on Xbox Game Pass, and a Stadia launch at the end of the year.
Godfall was released back in November 2020, and was one of the launch titles for the just-released PlayStation 5. It received average reviews, with many critics revealing that while Godfall is a great looking game that plays well, its focus on repetition might turn some players away.
