Grinding Gear Games has announced Path of Exile: Expedition, a new expansion arriving on Xbox One on 28th July.
Path of Exile: Expedition sees players encounter the Kalguur, a group of traders who have travelled to Wraeclast in order to retrieve their lost artefacts left behind by their ancient settlers. The player will have to travel to marked expedition sites, setting up explosives and detonating them to unearth the remains of the fallen Kalguur. Sounds simple enough, if said Kalguur didn’t then rise as an undead army. Unfortunately, they do, and you must defeat them to claim the artefacts. These artefacts can then be traded with the expansion’s four new merchants, each of which has their own trading style.
The expansion also adds in a selection of new gems to change up your playstyle, with a diverse set of nineteen new skills and support gems to cater to almost every type of character. The normal selection of balance adjustments can alsoo be expected, as well as a full rework of the flask system. You can find further details over on the official website here.
Path of Exile: Expedition arrives on PC on 23rd July 2021, before coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 28th July 2021.
