Push the F1 to one side, throw the WRC into the dirt and forget about the oval lapping of NASCAR. Today it’s all about one series of motorsport – the Superstar Racing Experience, as SRX: The Game hits Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PC.
Available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PC through Steam, SRX: The Game focuses all efforts on the most recent of new motorsports series’ – the Superstar Racing Experience.
It comes to market with a price of £41.74 from the Xbox Store and promises to give you the chance to prove once and for all that you are able to compete with the best. You see, SRX: The Game has been created on the back of the all new racing league that has been dreamt up by the Hall of Famers, Tony Stewart (yep, he behind the rather excellent Tony Stewart’s Sprint Car Racing) and Ray Evernham.
It’s a series that is all about the most powerful of motors, putting you behind the wheel of some 700 horsepower machines before being thrown onto dirt and asphalt tracks. From there, your driving skills are left to do the business.
SRX: The Game accompanies the launch of the Superstar Racing Experience in the real-world to bring you some of the greatest champions from the motorsport scene. Expect Stewart himself to have a starring role, but then we’ve also got the likes of Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves and more. With 6 licensed tracks to race around including the Knoxville Raceway, Slinger Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway amongst others including a variety of other dirt tracks, you really should know what to expect from this Monster Games creation.
Of course, going fast and going hard is the name of the game, and should you do so will find yourself capable of nailing the Career Mode, or able to take on friends or foes from around the world in the online multiplayer or local split screen options. And when you’re bored of the racing, you’ll be able to create your own liveries too.
Key features of SRX: The Game include:
- The official game of SRX: The Superstar Racing Experience
- 4 different series, featuring different cars and rule-sets
- 6 world class licensed tracks, and over 50 additional dirt tracks
- All the stars of the SRX series including Tony Stewart, Helio Castroneves, Bill Elliott and many more
- Compete against the world in 25-player multiplayer
- Build your racing team from the ground up in Career mode, hiring employees and drivers, and upgrading your cars along the way
- Create your own Paint Schemes in our Custom Car Creator
Whether SRX: The Game has what it takes to compete with the likes of the upcoming F1 2021, or has the draw of a NASCAR experience, we’ll find out in the days and weeks ahead. We’ll look to drop a full review of how SRX: The Game plays out on Xbox for you too.
For now though, get over to the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S downloads, the PlayStation Store should you prefer the PS way of life, or over to Steam to nab a PC version.
Do you have what it takes to compete with the best of the best in the Superstar Racing Experience? SRX: The Game is your chance to prove it.
